3.              Continuous latch securely attached to the entire length of the door with stainless steel screws, providing a full length latching mechanism capable of accepting several lock types.

4.              Fabricate slope top from a single sheet of HDPE, grooved to permit bending to form a backing strip for attachment to wall.

D.              Verify correct location of built-in framing and blocking.

 

3.02    INSTALLATION

 

A.              Comply with manufacturer’s written instructions for installation of lockers [and bases].  Install plumb and square.

B.              Anchor locker units to wall through the locker back with suitable anchor devices for the substrate.

C.              Anchor locker units to floor [base for island applications] with hardware furnished by manufacturer.

D.              Through-bolt adjoining locker units together to provide rigid installation.

E.              Install accessories, [number plates,] [end panels,] [sloped tops,] [and flat tops].

 

3.03    ADJUSTING

 

A.              Section 01700 – Execution Requirements: Testing, adjusting, and balancing.

B.              Adjust and align components to operate smoothly.
